A little energy always comes in handy, before a workout, but even more so during. Our body's energy supply comes from calorigenic macronutrients (carbohydrate, protein and fat). Among active ingredients, MCT (medium-chain triglyceride) is absorbed more quickly than long-chain fatty acids (LCT). In addition to MCT, the formula also contains simple and complex carbohydrates such as glucose, fructose and maltodextrin. Among the micronutrients, vitamin B6 and magnesium – both found in Energy Gel Pro – contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism. The Energy Gel Pro version has a higher vitamin B6 content*** than the Energy Gel product it is based on.
Other components include 2 types of amino acids: L-arginine and taurine – 1taurine is a neurotransmitter – as well as L-carnitine, whose name is also well known.
***Energy Gel contains 0,9 mg of vitamin B6 per serving.
